You see how I said before about us going to a Lebanese restaurant in Paris and them not speaking French?
I had a nagging feeling about that. So I looked it up on the internet, and while Arabic is the official language of Lebanon, it seems that practiacally everyone who comes from there speaks French. It is their official second language, and most schools in Lebanon use French as their first language when teaching.
So I was caught out there.
The truth is, I've never even been to Paris.
